I look forward to reading those chapter books when they’re published. Since I’ll become a grandmother in March, they just might end up in the hands of my granddaughter one day. … Thanks for mentioning Sisters Born, Sisters Found, too.

Haven’t read The Red House yet, but you’ve hooked me!

Instead, it was a tragedy about how one man was the lynchpin holding everything together…and how everything fell apart without him.

Once I got over my initial expectations, I liked it.

I liked Krystal too. I wish I could say more without throwing in a spoiler, but I was rooting for her. Glad you didn’t give it away, but am intrigued by your misunderstanding of the book. Do you mind sharing?

I hated the first half of the book. I put it down and decided to give it away. Then, I glanced at the end–and I realized that I had totally misunderstood what the book was about. I then went back and finished it, and I enjoyed it very much. But it was a painful book. Sad and tragic. I think my favorite character was Krystal.

I’ve got a request in at the library for Cuckoo. I think that will be a fun beach read. The Casual Vacancy is more like seasoned veggies but some of the bitterness comes through. Like endives with dressing, you know?

They were hoping for something out by November for NaNoWriMo, but nothing concrete yet. It would be good if that happens and I’m sure it’ll be out for mobile as well some time.

I do love technology :)
